Hussain has over ten years experience in researching and analysing global markets. He founded Riz Capital Management Ltd. in 2006 to provide insight into macroeconomic trends and emerging markets for a select group of clients. His specialty is providing strategic analysis and commentary on developments across global markets.
Between 2001 and 2005, Hussain worked at Bear, Stearns International Limited in London, and at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York. During this time he worked with a variety of products (including fixed income, equities, currencies, commodities, and related derivatives). His focus included managing the firm's exposure to a portfolio of hedge funds, and providing market related insight into a variety of emerging markets. Over the years Hussain has also accumulated experience related to global macro investing.
He has a B.A. in Political Science with a focus on International Political Economy from Duke University in North Carolina, and a M.B.A. from the University of Oxford with a focus on financial markets.
